I’ve started this blog to share the amazing experiences that have enriched my life, and that I don’t feel quite right keeping to myself. Gun ownership has given me a great sense of confidence, independence, and security. I sleep well at night knowing that I have the power to protect what is dearest to me— my family.
Apart from piece of mind, there’s a thrill in the process. Shooting is an exhilarating experience. Pulling that trigger feels absolutely extraordinary. You appear different to yourself in those seconds and transform into something completely stunning. You’re flooded with the sensations of being graceful, sexy, strong, humble, powerful, confident, nervous, excited, and beautiful all at once. It’s almost indescribable.
My aim, no pun intended, is to empower other women. “Mommy’s Got a Gun” is dedicated to educating and encouraging the women in America, and all over Earth, through the responsible ownership of a firearm. I’ve designed this blog in order give confidence and a sense of camaraderie with the women, and maybe some men, who read it. Ultimately, I wish to uplift my readers and help you achieve the same sense of fulfillment that I’ve been blessed with.
Using a gun may sound intimidating to you. The history of firearms has parts of it that are violent and bloody. Sadly, this is what the media tends to focus on, and what we mostly hear about. Guns are tools, like any other, and although their misuse often leads to tragedy, people, not guns, cause harm to others. Believe me when I tell you that firearms have another side. It is a world deeply rooted in family, respect, tradition, skill, achievement, self-confidence, learning, responsibility, patience, fun, nature, and believe it or not, love. It’s this realm that I want to bring to light, and share with you.
