The idea of any blog is to stimulate and inform those who read it. It is my hope that you will find this blog informative, thought-provoking, and that my experiences will empower you to learn how to defend yourself and your family.
While I hope that everyone will feel free to comment on the content of my posts, I feel it only fair to warn you that not all comments will be posted. This website is not a forum for debating the pros and cons, or morality of gun ownership. You must make those decisions for yourself, following your own sensibilities.
In an effort to keep the information on this site relevant to those who use it, please keep all comments on topic. Off-topic comments will be removed at my discretion.
With the subject as politically charged as gun ownership, it’s only a matter of time before someone tries to post a political rant in the comments section. However, it will not be published. Even if I agree wholeheartedly with the commenter. You might be asking yourself why not? The simple answer is that this is not a political blog. If you wish to start a political flame war, there are numerous sites that are happy to publish your personal, political manifesto. People with “political-Tourette’s syndrome” need not comment here. This is my blog, and it’s for discussion and education about firearms, not debate. If this bothers you, please feel free to exercise your First Amendment rights by starting a blog of your own.
On Politics and Religion
There are very few people in this world that have no strong feelings on politics or religion. While I obviously have political and religious beliefs, it is my intention to tread as lightly as possible in these two areas. Obviously, I am pro-gun. However, beyond that I consider politics and religion subjects that you as a reader must come to on your own.
I Only Play One on TV
Finally I’d like to remind you that I am not a lawyer or a professional gun expert. I cannot give you legal advice on firearms.
